Dear Resident,

Your local officers will be carrying out High Visibility Patrols in your local area following ongoing concerns from local schools and residents, that drivers are continually ignoring traffic parking and stopping regulations during the school run.

Last term, several penalties were issued to offenders as a deterrent. The local policing team will continue to enforce these regulations robustly at regular intervals, to help keep local school children safe on their commute to and from school. We would ask that if you use a vehicle near a school or to drop off and collect pupils, that you carefully consider when and where you stop, and the safety of all pedestrians.
